How the site is funded
Our checklists are free. To keep them that way, some links to companies are affiliate links. If you buy or sign up through one, we may earn a commission. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and sometimes you get a discount.
We also sell our own digital products, such as printable checklist packs and planner templates.
Where you’ll find affiliate links
• The Recommended section and partner cards.
• Some step tips on checklist pages, for example a link to a bank or a mobile provider.
• Occasionally, our newsletter.
How we choose what to recommend
• Official sources come first. Every checklist links to the government source for its procedure, and those links are never affiliate links.
• We only recommend services we would use or that readers have found useful, and we mention alternatives where they exist.
• No company pays to change a checklist’s steps, their order or the official advice.
• Prices we quote are dated, because they change.
