Cookie Policy

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Here’s the small amount of storage the site does use.

The short version

How to Live in Spain doesn’t use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. We only store what the site needs to work, so we don’t show a cookie banner.

What we store on your device

• Sign-in session (browser local storage, set by Supabase when you sign in): keeps you signed in, and is removed when you sign out. Strictly necessary.

• Guest progress (browser local storage): if you tick steps without an account, your ticks are saved on your device so they’re still there next time. Strictly necessary for a feature you asked for.

Strictly necessary storage doesn’t need consent under Spanish law (LSSI-CE, article 22.2).

Visit statistics

Framer, our website host, counts visits without cookies and without any identifier that follows you over time.

Partner websites

If you click a link to a partner company, that website may set its own cookies, for example to record that you came from us. Those cookies are set on the partner’s site, under its own cookie policy.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. If you do, you’ll be signed out, and guest ticks on that device will be lost.

Changes

If we ever add cookies that need your consent, such as Google Analytics, we’ll ask first with a clear choice to accept or refuse, and update this page.
